The last pic is a crack going down the the board along side of the center rib . This didn’t show up on the outside ..
I assume epoxy and glass would be the best way to insure no problems down the road .

I think my son fixed the pics issue . Let’s try it . I finally took the 2 handles off the transom and did a little sanding ..
The outside layer of veneer is off in a few places and the next darker layer is showing though . What do you guys think .

I picked up a quart of Epiphanes and some of there brushing thinner . I know it will take a lot more so the door is still open to changing things up if I want .. My original thought was to roll and tip it .. If sprayed will it OP like paint does ?

I also did a little test of the filler I picked up to see how it would look ..
I wiped it down with a little paint thinner to see roughly how it would look after varnish ..
Got the initial scraping done in the bow area . Huge pita ! Every time I get into position and start to scrape my butt hold would break loose and I slip down the hill ...:facepalm:.. Then the buggery scrapings would fall down and I end up putting my elbows in it ..
then that starts to burn...

Couple coats of white on today after a bit of clean up .. Looks ok but I did have a good bit of OP ... I think I will wet sand and maybe try a smaller tip . I was using a 1.5...
