Only has one powerpack I believe.----Does spark jump a gap of 3/8" or more on all leads , yes or no?----And post the actual compression values here.----There are no wires going to the carburetors !-----The temperature switches are only there to sound the overheat alarm !!-----Are carburetor high...
You have an OMC stern drive.----Well----30 ohms is way too much.-----Should be about 5/ 6 ohms I think.-----Sounds like a shaft spline is stripped.-----Fairly common.-----Time to take the drive apart.------Manuals are available.-----Your location ?
Well---Some will argue , but 110 PSI compression is BAD on one of those motors!---So you have a bad gauge or a motor that needs major work.----Remove cylinder head.----Just 22 bolts and easy.----Head gasket is cheap if it is bad !-----But I do not believe you will like what you see...
Reed valves work at all RPM !!!!---Reeds do NOT stick closed.------That motor does not look like an 89 model to me.-----So post the model # here.-----It looks like a 49 cube model .----Compression is a lot higher on those.
Remember that just1 million electric cars zipping along on the roads at 60 miles/ hr require about 15 to 20 million HP .----So when they are plugged in that power needs to be generated somewhere.
Is your boat water logged ??----And is the motor in good condition ?-----Post the actual compression values here.-----A 17" pitch prop should do the trick.----But I think 1900 LBS is an issue here.
