Looking like it will hit south of SRQ. So the heavy rains will be 46.7 miles north (distance from eye to outer bands).

It's staked. Use a Dremel (or a good pocket knife) and remove the stakes. Then I would use a cut-off wheel in the Dremel and cut a slit in top to get a screw driver in to pry out
If it goes south, it will be weaker and much less storm surge.
Worst case, it hits just north of Tampa and Manatee/Sarasota gets the surge. Our barrier islands are toast. If it hits just south of Tampa, Lee/Collier counties get the surge
