    its never the coil (only about 2 out of a million suspected bad coils are ever bad). however a coil is easy to diagnose. My guess is the distributor is 180 degrees out.

    dont overthink it. you need zinc in the flat tappet motor you have. as stated. get the rotella T4 15w-40 diesel motor oil.

    you can. some of the 3.0's came with 2.5 heads. not much changed in the heads when they stroked it until after 1990

    blower motor will be either a 3" or 4" start with what is there and then get the same. bilge pump may be a lowly 500 GPH or 800 GPH pump. I would go with a 1200 GPH pump myself.
