    Gen V used peanut port heads. Gen VI head is a true vortec head. Can use most BBC oval port intakes We are having server issues preventing posting pictures. We have reached out to the hosting admin folks

    You want a Gen VI vs the problematic Gen V Oval port heads make it the L29. Rectangular port heads make it the 454 mag

    Pulling from a boat is easier. Pull drive first 1993-1995 S-10 would be a good source to match your motor. If it froze, you will also need a new intake, exhaust manifolds as well as long block I shop on car-part.com for blocks
