    Welcome to iBoats . . . A couple of questions . . . Why does the water pump pulley need to be replaced ( need or just a desire ?) Is there a GM part number stamped somewhere on the part? As mentioned, the engine is a GM 496/8.1 and many of the parts are GM.

    Not the easiest thing to change, but do-able. The place where the wires feed through the transom can be a challenge. The manual says to take the bell housing off . . . BUT . . . many of us have found a way to access the retaining bolt with the bell housing intact (as mentioned/shown above)...
