    Mercruiser 3.7 190 Fresh motor. Manual says re-torque head after being brought to operating temperature for 1st time. Should this be done warm or after it cools back down. Does not state in manual. Thank you

    If I recall.... (and thats a big if LOL) You need a 3ohm coil and the resistor wire needs to be deleted Did mine a while ago and pretty sure if you use the 1.5ohm coil it will overheat like that. Hopefully someone else on here can lead you in the right direction

    In my experience the foam holds on to any moisture, fuel, and nasty odors. This leads to rotted fuel tank, stringers, bulkheads, and decking. I would never want it again. Custom fuel tanks are expensive and prep work will keep you out of the water for a season. Before and after photos.

    Like I said, the pads on the tank were larger which should disperse the weight. Installed it last year, so far so good. Im hoping everything works out long term. It was a good install and I'm (fairly) confident. 🤔

    I used pvc "pucks" installed with 5200 on my hull and mating pucks a bit larger 5200 on the tank to match. I used a cardboard cutout template of the tank end to match the angle the pucks were installed in the hull so they would lay flat against the ones installed on the tank. All worked out...

    Made one with an adjustable wrench. Drilled hole and pinned each side with appropriate size pins for the holes on caps
