Found some nice heavy ones from Fulton, no welds, no bolts.
Old one
New one, Fulto part number 581906
I ran the wires out along side the main wiring harness, used 2 zip ties and secured the switch to the cable that runs down to the trim unit.
Easily accessible from inside the boat, or while installing the transom saver. And no holes drilled in the motor.
Push the top link of the clamp toward the engine.
Continue pushing until it snaps / locks in place.
To release the clamp, push the little tab (touching the eraser) , push the tab toward the engine and lift it upward.

Do you seat the hub parts together before installing on the prop shaft?
In other words, do you press/hammer them together?
I have read that some people do.
Have also read that it is not needed.
Just install, then torque to 100 ft lb to seat, then back off the nut, 55 ft lb being the minimum...

I recently upgraded my kicker, wanted a bit more umph, and found a great deal on a Merc 15 with electric start.
Now I'm looking for a new prop for trolling.
Looking to slow the boat down.
Currently running a 3 blade 9p prop. It runs at almost 3 mph at idle.
Options are either a 4 blade 10 x...
