    pulling 1 manifold bolt is not a problem that 55# of cast iron wont move enough to effect the clamp on the gasket

    its not ideal, however if you scuff the area with 24-40 grit to give the surface some tooth, you can get the VE to stick. its purely a mechanical bond at that point and no chemical adhesion.
