    Dyneema makes great winch lines and tow lines (towing other boats) Overkill for a ski rope

    It's bolted and caulked down. Reach under the gunwale, unplug the tower, unbolt the tower. Or because the tower is designed to be below DOT limit and the gunwale is beafed up with al aluminum plate in the cap. The boat and tower are structurally secure (as it's a tow tower). Just leave it up

    Use a lighter and melt the fray, then go skiing. When it breaks, make another knot/eye splice That appears to be polypropylene line and not nylon
