    Ayuh,..... Most boat motors are killed by their owners, 'n never wear out,..... You can get several thousand hours 'tween rebuilds,...... I'd shut down a motor run at a constant 3200/ 3800 rpms, due to the need to change the oil every 100 hours, or so,.....

    Ayuh,..... Welcome Aboard,..... On the back of the key switch, is there power on the purple wire when in the run position,..?? How 'bout the purple wires on the motor,..?? If there is power at the back of the switch, but not at the motor, pull the big cannon plug where the boat's wirin'...

    Ayuh,..... Even the ole standby stock plugs, MR43T will last 5 or more years,..... Boaters get pretty anal when it comes to parts that are reasonably easy to change,..... Spark plugs, 'n coils come to mind,.....

    Ayuh,..... Welcome Aboard,..... Begin at the key switch,..... With the key "On", there should be power on the red feed wire, 'n the purple wire, without power at the red/ yellow wire,...... Red is battery power, purple is the ignition circuit, 'n the red/ yellow is the start circuit,.....
