    Need a lot more description of your cruiser and Davits that raise and lower a stern mounted tender / lifeboat / inflatable. What do you do with the motor after lifting up ? Set it down on what ? Then remove engine cover ?

    Excellent logic. There is NO DIFFERENCE going to a boat after enough rain has run down the Starting Battery to 0 volts. Moored out or at a dock. Same dragging around another charged up battery to use while the dead battery is SAFELY charged up with a full sized 120 vac unit for 2 days.

    If the pour in foam is OPEN CELL type ? Could have hundred of pounds of water in the foam. Careful checking of all the below waterline rivets is in order. My 1986 Riveted Hull has never leaked. All floatation foam is under seat benches. Replaced Plywood transom.

    Why would you ever think a 55 year old boat is not going to be endless rip out and replace everything. Including electrical parts and wiring. No great running engine ? Go for a 15 to 30 minute test ride ? You are trying to get us to encourage you to buy a dream boat. We can not do that.

    In freshwater I had too much oil in the gas / oil mixture. Looked like lumps of cream cheese on lower unit. Motor has separate exhaust tube and prop.

    Fresh killed & filleted Perch smell like a sugar coated meat. Water is at a medium simmer of bubbles. I love Asparagus. Sometimes I get fussy and cook them in 2 pots at same time. Life is good. (y)(y)

    The newest fish finders will show number, size and a fish coming after your lure when jigging straight up and down. Great for people liking lots of struggling fish on a line.
