    Johnson / Evinrude used plastic ( lexan ) props on smaller motors years and years ago.

    Overheat warning buzzer is the round thingy.----No model # posted , but look for a neutral start switch on motor linkages or control box.

    When I worked in an outboard shop 55 years ago there was rarely an issue with prop hubs slipping.-----Or a motor that could not be repaired.-----Reason for that ?-----There was no such thing as a motor that was more than 20 years old.!-----Today folks walk in with a 60 year old motor to find out...

    Facts need to be understood.----Water must be 6 or 8" above the impeller in a test bucket.-----Testing in a small bucket is a common mistake that folks make every day !

    There is compression in the cylinders.----What are the actual values?----There is compression in each crankcase.-----It is compression pressure in the crankcase that drives the fuel pump.-----There may be a lack of pressure pulses in the crankcase.

    The sky is BLUE and grass is GREEN-----Therefor orange blue stripe goes to top coil and orange green to the bottom coil.-----
