    I was thinking the choke is failing but if it's hard to start when warm that's probably not it unless you're choking when it is warm.. I'm shade tree but more capable folks can help you with this..

    Glad it went well for you. Be mindful of distortion of the hull during the rebuild or you may have problems putting the lid back on the box.

    Yes I agree with you, the tool will rough it in. On my current boat,1995 SR 220 , the front mounts are a Z type bracket bolted to the stringers and the mounts are shlimmed with ss plates. No wood. They hang from the stringers on either side of the motor..in any case, if you can get a close...

    Good start, you have a lot more 10 hrs stretch's ahead but your on your way. Guess you could pull the boat out from under the cap then set the cap on some rollers and push it out of the way for later..
