The Garmin 95 is an OEM release.
You should be looking at an Echomap series 93XX or 94XX depending on location
The 93 series has “lake” maps the 94 series is tidal water.
SV is side view
DV is down view
CV is compromised close out
Ideal flow is determined by the water temp, number, size and type of bait your maintaining. Some fish tolerate captivity very well, others do not.
Generally speaking, low flow is better than too much. To much flow and you literally can drown them.
I often venture far from sight of land, (offshore) often in total darkness.
I could resort to dead reckoning if need be, but pointless seeing I have two chartplotters onboard.
As far as the fish finder...shoaling is a constant problem in tidal water. Running aground isn’t an option.
I’m...
I'm running two (2) deep cycle batteries with an ACR monitoring battery 1.
My criteria for connection is that all critical loads (required to get home) are assigned to the Battery 1
Battery 1 - Motor, Navigation lights, Bilge pumps, Trim Tabs, VHF radio, Chartplotter and Fish finder.

60’ is tough w/o downrigger
The 12” per rev retrieve rate is rather slow and they don’t come/have a line counter, but I don’t see why they wouldn’t work for you
We have a 1.5 yro Lab/Husky cross (Huskador)

Working load 20% of rated load
Elongation rated at 30% of working load
Split drum only. No capstans or cleats
UV loss -10% per year
Need to go to 1/2” to replace my 3/16” steel cable
Can't comment on the first two options. Not fan of using cell phones as instrumentation or scrolling thru menus to monitor critical engine functions.
While NMEA 2000 is the industry communications standard for electronics and peripherals, motor OEMs continue to use proprietary protocols...
May should petty but make sure the winch has the ability to “free spool” down.
Nothing like trying to anchor in a particular spot and waiting for a winch to “drop” the anchor
Actually, should be none the worst for wear if the guy does his due diligence and hits the under carriage wash when he gets out.
Driving in saltwater up to the running boards was a given if you spent enough time on the island.
Bought the Tahoe new at the peak of my tournament participation...
The dimensions you noted are for grp. 27 batteries.
I have two (2) group 27 deep cycles on my boat.
One (1) grp. 27 Everlast Maxx and one (1) grp. 27 Interstate
The "little needles" are the individual strands of wire that make up the cable that have broken. The equivalent of a frayed strap.
Cable should be replaced with the first sign of a broken strand(s).
Use a good quality, (high strand count) stainless or galvanized steel cable and it will out...
