Well...that doesn't apply here since the drain plug is replaced by a banjo bolt and a dipstick tube. You are sucking the oil out of the pan drain hole.
I totally disagree. The oil dipstick actually is connected to the pan drain hole on a Volvo Penta.
Out of curiosity, how do you come up with this 1/2 qt number?
Volvo Penta already basically has that. The dipstick tube screws into the drain hole of the pan. You attach a pump to the threaded garden hose fitting at the top of the dipstick tube and you suck all the oil out the bottom of the pan.
More than likely just grease from the cap or that rubber stopper...definitely not the nuts. When was the last time you pulled the drums and inspected your brakes and bearings?
And holy crap..does that date code really say 1290?
I didn't grow up in the PNW but my parents did and I spent every summer of my life up there until college.
I kinda remember doing a tour through the brewery.
I would never drink the stuff though! I like craft IPAs
What is the base material of that grease?
I always used Stalube since it is an aluminum complex grease so its more water resistant than a lithium base..
LOL...I have nothing vested in either team. If there is video of anyone punching, they should prosecuted. All I have seen are Mi St players. They should be prosecuted
My new to me cobalt has a great cover that uses the ratchet strap to tighten the webbing on the edge of the cover. I have no issues putting it on at our dock with the dock on only one side of the boat.
It is an expensive cover though.
