    You know anything about this motor? There is an aluminum plate that covers the carbs, it has intake holes in in and there is a plastic cover that goes over the front. There was an open crack that went directly into the lowest number 4 cylinder carb. That was the problem.

    The issue appeared to be either fuel or spark, it was neither, there was a crack in the intake right up the lower carb. JB weld should hold till the new part arrives.

    I found the fuel filter I need in stock at a marine dealer, now I just need to curse the new filter in place.

    Mercury part number 35-816296-4. Goes between the fuel pump and the carbs, pressure side of the fuel pump.

    1992 Mariner 2 stroke 115 hp. Can I move the fuel filter to the intake side to allow for easier accesss and protect the fuel pump? Wondering it has tolorances for lower intake vaccume vs pressure discharge?

    My local small town grocery store has an awesome meat department. They make cheesey hashbrown sausage patties, you put that in country gravy, it does not matter the biscut it is over you will not notice the biscut.
