    Miserable Midwest Spring

I would love to, unfortunately I am not able to be there till after school is out for the summer, my wife would kill me if I went without her. With the weather this spring my wife is watching saltwater fishing shows on TV and looking at Florida properties again.

    Miserable Midwest Spring

Supposed to get the dock put in May 7th, really starting to doubt that lake is still 95% ice covered. Been a horrible, snowy, windy winter in Central Minnesota and the spring we are at 20 days below average temps so far in April. If I see snow again I may shoot holes in my freezer.

Has anyone seen or heard of a trailer tire doing this?

I was going thru a Dairy Queen drive thru and I was watching the tires to stay off the curb, I noticed a bulge in one of the tires. It was a nerve wracking slow drive on the back roads to get home.

Prepping aluminum boat for salt water slip

I would ask the marina if they have a dry storage option, sure takes a little longer to get on the water, call ahead and pay to have it in the water when you show.

    Anchor line/rode size

When I park at the dock I use rope to tie the boat off, when somebody is going to ski I throw them the tow rope, when I anchor use anchor rope. If somebody insists I use their terms at my place on my boats I tell them to get over themselves.

    1950s Alumacraft boat

If any transom could take it, that is the one. I still have a flying D sitting in a shed that just needs to be assembled, probably should let it go.

    Flying D conversion?

Do you have the bow cover? If not they are next to impossible to find. You can make the seats more useable by making cushions that fit inside those rails. All you need is 1/2" plywood some foam from a craft store and canvas. Staple the fabric over the foam and to the plywood. The Flying D and...

Max HP is 45, a 35 hp will move that boat right along. There is a number on the knee of the transom middle brace inside of the boat. E mail that number to alumacraft and they will tell you the model you have.
