'94 Yamaha 130TXRS. Trims up only when stopped/slow.

the trim rams only move the motor so far, and then the tilt rams go from there to full up. Is the 25% you mentioned the limit of the trim rams?

    Yamaha 25hp outboard

I prefer to have the motor running on muffs when I do this hoping for what ever is blocking the flow gets moved around and out the exhaust with the rest of the water flow.

'94 Yamaha 130TXRS. Trims up only when stopped/slow.

either air in system or bad seals would be my guess. but then wat are you calling 25%? tilt does not work but trim does under power

F115 won't start after eliminated fuel and spark problems

I am not a 4 stroke guy ,so I would think your motors service manual should have some kind of info on it. seems like I read about them overheating and possibly hurting the ECU if stuck and the ECU keeps trying to adjust it. But I am sure the ECU uses info from other sensors to know it wants...

2009 yamaha 115 four stroke starter relay replace question

is a starter replay the same as a starter solenoid? usually the high current contacts get pitted/burned and do not make good contact from time to time. or a bad connection somewhere in the battery system arcs and makes good contact for awhile. I like working on things on solid ground so if I...

Older 140 Suzuki 2 stroke no power

easy to monitor pressure to see if that is a problem. I guess this is an injected motor if it has a high pressure pump. Not enough fuel in the VST would cause the motor to not run properly and die when there was no fuel to pump. being that the fuel cools and lubes the pump as it is running, no...

Older 140 Suzuki 2 stroke no power

never heard of low oil shutting off a motor read Suzuki had low oil flow, low oil level, low water level in block and over temp that would alarm and restrict RPMs but nothing about shutting off a motor

    89 Suzuki pu55 won’t open up

if they all have good spark at the proper timing, then you are left with the fuel to air ratio. Too little or too much fuel can keep a cylinder from burning properly with a load on

F75TLR stalling at idle rough idle

I do not know anything about that F75, but being injected I would think it has an Idle air control valve that could have a problem

    Syncing carbs?

I have found that a good heated sonic cleaner bath is the most helpfull if a quick regular cleaning does not do what is needed. if the gaskets/orings need to be replaced then a kit is a good choice. just because the bolts and hole that mount the carbs to the intake are not tight fitting, there...
