I dropped a screw at the very back of the motor near the cowling latch. I can't see it laying there so guessing it fell down to the lower unit. Anybody got any ideas as to where it went and if it will be a problem. Btw I have a 25 etec

It is 12 inch prop. I haven't tried trimming up yet I will soon. The motor is screwed into the transom as well as clamped on. The dealer put it on for me. The plate is below the boat however.
I have a 14x48 flat bottom ouachita 1971 and I'm looking at getting an evinrude 25 etec. Motor weights 146 lbs.i don't see the plate on the boat that says the rating. Any help is appreciated.
I have a 6 hp evinrude 1968 and I was wonderful what size boat it would run best with. I have a 14 ftx48" and it will run about 6mph with just me in it.
Hey guys, on my 1968 fisherman there is male threads where I put the prop. I don't know what I'm missing here but it really confuses me as to why there would be threads.

Ok so I got the seals out....I just wanna make sure the area that they sit in is in good shape before I order the new ones. I see some scratches near the top. Is that okay? I imagine the seal will take care of that.
Hey guys. I have the mentioned engine and it says the original sparkplugs are champion j4j. Can I supplement them with a different brand/number? Thanks for your feedback
