    first, check the ends of the wire at teh gauge and sender (tan wire) check the ground at the gauge most likely its corrosion on the terminals then check resistance of the sender. should be a 230-30 ohm sender (most in the US are)

    all we make are heavy stainless anchor roller chutes. these are similar ones pulled from the interweb. thats 1/4" stainless plate, and often, they get damaged

    One snag of the anchor and the rode will snap that bit of teak right off the bow. Anchor chutes and rollers are usually mounted in heavy stainless weldments for a reason
