Never let oil that has contamination from the combustion process sit in a motor over winter

I just scored some good deals on facetube marketplace. few bites on what I am selling.
first, check the ends of the wire at teh gauge and sender (tan wire)
check the ground at the gauge
most likely its corrosion on the terminals
then check resistance of the sender. should be a 230-30 ohm sender (most in the US are)
all we make are heavy stainless anchor roller chutes.
these are similar ones pulled from the interweb. thats 1/4" stainless plate, and often, they get damaged
