    Look forward to seeing it Every so many years a houseboat with I/O has to be pulled out by the stern leaving the bow in. The trailer broke installing it, wonder what they will try when doing it from the stern? Will be another interesting thing to watch ;)

    Got a link? There was a band new houseboat was built and launched on Dale Hollow Lake 120x22 footer, called Knots 2 Scrappy. Took 3 years to build and cost 2.5 mil. The water was high which helped but the trailer still broke in half trying to launch it. News 5

    There are true AGM's like Odyssey, Lifeline, Trojan and there are others like Duracell, Mercruiser, Quicksilver, West Marine, Diehard which are AGM's but not much more then an improved lead acid. Odyssey needs a AGM charger, the Duracell works fine with a LA charger. Can find this info on the...

    Diameter of tubes, size of Bat cables, control cables and others. Haven't measured mine but think they are 2.5 ID, look to be 3 OD

    The drive cannot be worked on in the water, it has to be pulled Nothing in life is 100% but what I'm seeing is the cable is moving further than it should even if working correctly, and you might get it in gear not running, but no way to get it back out. Should not be able to move it in either...

    A B3 shift cable moving without the motor running would have me looking at the shift linkage and cam assembly. There is a set screw (item 15) which tightens against the shift shaft that moves the cam https://www.mercruiserparts.com/bam/subassemblydetail/46858223/28171122
