the two lines going to the cylinders back to a Tee fitting sound like they are crossed somewhere.
from the pump, each line goes to a Tee fitting, then there are two lines, going to the two cylinders.
from the pump, the up-circuit goes to the Tee, then the lines go to the blind end of the...
are E-bike motors brushed or BLDC? if BLDC, they can manage the inrush. if brushed, you get a huge spike.
I havent dug into the E-bike rabbit holes enough to look.
however I agree, get the most power you can afford.
your accelerator pump circuit is probably plugged
the missfires you are hearing are a lean sneeze as it didnt get the shot of fuel from the accelerator pump
BTDT with the patch falling on your head. then you need to take acetone to clean that off.....
agree with Mike, a bit less resin and roll it out. however I still have had issues
the plastic method works, unless there is a lot of carolina flare near the keel
i have taken a large garbage bag...

the toon logs are easily dented by putting it on a log or PVC, so you would have to be very very careful.
I would use 2x6's as mentioned, or buy a pizza and some beer and call the neighbors over to help lift

if its a Buick motor, its an OMC
it would be the 225 cubic inch odd-fire Kaiser/Jeep V6 back in 1971 (the 231 didnt come around until Buick bought the V6 back from Kaiser Jeep in 1974)
there should be both a Tilt switch and a trim switch. the tilt operates just the leg and is used for...
looks like someone attempted to patch the crack from the outside with body putty
do you know if they used poly or epoxy? if poly, then you will need a few yards of CSM, a few yards of 1708 and a few gallons of resin. if epoxy, you need some light cloth, some 1700 and a few gallons of resin...
My guess is you are referring to the tilt and trim. after 40 years, my guess is the seals in the unit need to be replaced. Hydraulic seals last about 15 years
my last 3 tows would have averaged well over $1250 out of pocket each event especially when you are 15-23 miles from your port. all covered by my boat us membership. my normal vessel insurance offers towing reimbursement up to 3000, and I have to be able to call them. the boat US guys answer...
