    isnt the crownline a bow rider and the four winns a pocket cruiser? for having kids, etc, I would go for a bow rider. for weekends with the wife, I would go with the pocket cruiser. a 5.0 anything is a bit small pushing a 24 ft boat

    Agreed, there is no market. If you want to end up with a small fortune restoring boats, start with a large fortune to apply towards the boat.

    Many small motors do not have a thermostat Yes, water pumps have gotten expensive the last few years

    1-part top side paint is only good for a few days under water. Gel is what I would do on the bottom. And then boat wax to wax the hull to keep growth at bay. However if you are going to use a 1-part paint, I would recommend bottom paint (easy to apply, not aesthetically pleasing)

    Depends on what water it will be in. If it's fresh water, wax is all you need

    If it wants to fire turning the dizzy 45 degrees, the distributor is not inserted correctly

    just because its splashed and you use it......doesnt mean its done....LOL. Im still tinkering with mine for splash nominations, it must be wet, away from the dock and under its own power. doesnt need to be perfect and complete.

    first, welcome aboard. second, make sure the pump is plumbed correctly. there is an arrow cast in the pump body for fuel flow direction. third, make sure the pump is wired correctly with an oil pressure switch and a relay.

    Both valves will be closed one revolution later too. However only for a brief moment as compared to the compression stroke where the valves would be closed for about 45 degrees of crankshaft revolution Out of those compression numbers , only cylinder 7 is in spec
