    Going straight at low speed?

I vary between #230-238 depending on if I'm slacking on my diet or not. It’s not the weight. The hull pretty much steers itself. All have to do is stand over the center line of the boat and shift my weight from one leg to the other to maintain course. Anything “skiing” behind the boat is...

Voltage between batteries and aluminum hull

You need to find the ground path…. Disconnect the “boat” ground cable from the battery and test again. If you still have continuity, the motor is grounded to the hull. If this is the case, it’s not ideal but whatever you do don’t use the hull as a grounding point. All circuit grounds must be...

    Going straight at low speed?

Deadrise and weight distribution plays a huge role on how a boat tracks as well. I have continuously variable deadrise hull. I literately can stand at the stern and maintain course all day long by simply shifting my weight relative to the keel, akin to the "Chesapeake Waltz"

Rubberized or Epoxy undercarriage roll on for salt water trailer?

My galvanized trailer made it 22 years in SW before the bottom of a side rail (wishbone) rusted through. Not a big deal structurally since the load is carried by the side walls, but good enough to convince Mrs. Dingbat that a new aluminum trailer was needed for safety reasons.

    M40C Tachometer install weird readings

I use the same tach to set idle on all my small engines. Works like a charm The problem is the pulse settings are not clearly defined. Typically: 1Pr= 2 stroke 2Pr = 4 stroke Given that your running a two stroke, your only get 1 pulse per revolution, not 2 pulses as you currently have it setup

How many very new 4 stroke engines will be running trouble free at age 50 to 75 years old ?

That $525 price in the ad is roughly $6,000 in today’s money. Can buy a new 25hp today for half that price.
