    First time making ground venison bacon, 8 pounds of it. Didn’t expect it to taste like pork bacon and it doesn’t. Not bad, not great! We will eat it and tweak it next time.

    Saw an uptick of bucks actively chasing doe on cam at night. Then it was like a switch was thrown and they started moving in daylight. Good luck when you get out.

    Managed this ten this morning. Was my farthest archery kill to date at 40 yards. He only ran about 50 yards till he dropped. With two deer in the freezer my season isover.
