I remember buying a B3 lower reseal kit and it came with the older seals. The kit in your link looks like a B1 kit
The B3 lower kit isn't much, and this kit is aftermarket. Unable to find a number for the Merc kit. I might just buy the seals individually.
Welcome
What is the motor serial number?
Turn the key to start and hold it there while moving the throttle handle Fwd/Rev slightly. If it cranks when moving the handle then it's the neutral safety switch
If it still does not crank, then use a voltmeter and measure the key switch on the Yel/Red...
Note: A Bravo 3 lower is the same on a Standard B3 all the way to B3 X and XR. The upper housing is the only difference.
Parts I listed are the correct ones.
While even Mercruiser Parts list both seals (37 and 42) and item 37 as NLA if it's selected it shows 45 pieces in stock. My assumption...

To remove prop shaft both carrier and retainer must be removed.
As mentioned in my thread I tried the slide hammer and was not able to get it out. I wound up splitting the seal to remove. Figured I would buy the correct tool and use a press if I needed to do it again
Didn't have much...
Welcome
The stuff in your link is basically radiator stop leak
Folks have tried to use that kind of stuff for years. It coats everything in the motor and does stop a very small leak, the issue is it doesn't last. The other thing is it won't do a head gasket
We thought all were verified cracked in same place
Can test by using a piece of rubber and sandwich the elbow and manifold together, or use a piece of flat steel or even a 2x6 piece of wood. Then pressurize to 1 bar
There is an impeller inside
Look for a thru hull shutoff valve and close it. Then remove the pump and disassemble
Does look like the G7B and if correct look for rebuild kit
If pump needs complete rebuild with bearings I found this one
Rebuild
Don't know how much if any.
Boat was bought from Checkmate in 85 by my Buddies brother who is a doctor. The same model never came with a 383 so no numbers +/-.
I've been in it and speed-o does not keep up and it doesn't have a GPS. Pics of it on the water with 4 people in it, all you see a WOT...
