    primer bulb is not legal on I/O motors. but you can take the inlet fitting of the fuel pump and dump it in a 5-gallon tank.

    the issue is the amount of oil and contaminates in the casting make it nearly impossible to weld. the part has to be hot-tanked, baked, re-hot-tanked, then ground out. then welded

    compression is seriously low at 112psi. could be from not running. agreed, get a new carter pump. summitracing has them for the 470
