    Yes they will make a difference. They should be the RJ8C I’m a fan of NGK and that would the BR6S I believe but you should double check if you go with NGK

    You could try blowing most it through with compressed air. Use a rubber tip blow nozzle on a blow gun in the top vent and push it out the bottom drain.

    I would shoot for 650 to 700 rpms while in gear and not tied to the dock. But that just me.

    Roadking Using the old head gasket could be a problem. Once they are compressed is usually game over. Just a thought.

    I’m in agreement with all of the above. Let it run for awhile and get up to operating temp before worrying about it to much. Everything may just work it’s self out fine.

    No need to worry about timing marks. You are correct the light will stop blinking if you drop a cylinder. It sounds like you carb was in need of a good cleaning and you may find that’s what the problem was. Best

    The mag plate is moving back and forth because the coil is to close. The flywheel magnets are dragging the mag plate. It doesn’t need to be physically touching to be to close if that makes sense. As stated line in up with parallel with the flats on the mag plate.

    I’m sorry but it drives me crazy when people bash Chinese quality. The ones to blame are the companies that spec their products to be made. If you spec a quality product that’s what you will get but it comes at a higher price and that’s when things go down hill. I have spent some time in China...

    Great news. If by chance it doesn’t work out. There is a difference between welding and spray welding. Spray welding is considered a cold process and should not warp the shaft. Hopefully the polishing will work out for you. Best

    I’m leaning towards your coils not being adjusted correctly. They are likely dragging on the flywheel.

    That supposed to be the tank vent and it’s broken. You need to vent the tank or it will leak when it expands and it will keep your motor from running as well if its closed. I only close mine durning transport in my truck. You should get a new tank or at least replace the sending unit.

    I had this problem once and when I took the starter apart I found a cracked magnet. It would be worth disassembling to have a look.

    If I’m understanding this correctly it sounds like you have to much water in the barrel. Maybe even covering your exhaust so you may be pumping water just fine but you can’t see it.
