    The North American standard is 240 to 33 ohms (Empty to Full) The European standard is 0 to 180 ohms (Empty to Full) So your gauge is working closer to the European style The 0-50 for the sending unit has me wondering if it isn't a switch

    This tells me most of the issue and changing props will not do much as you have found out. A 5.0 isn't much better then a 4.3, and what you need is more HP. You could fix it with a 5.7 but not sure your willing to do that. Is the motor a carb or MPI?

    That may or may not be an issue. It's a GM part and may be able to get it from a GM dealer. It's a 1 Bar (1 atmosphere) pressure sensor

    33 is MAP voltage high - yours is a MEFI 1 Means either the MAP is bad or signal lead is shorted to power 5V or grounded
