    Accessories not working

It’s quite possible you have a dead battery especially if you left the battery switch on the entire time. I would start by measuring the voltage on both batteries.

1966 40hp Big Twin to Suzuki DF25 on 14' SC holiday?

Not a fan and refuse to do things half reared with a “new” installation anymore. You’re spending the money, time and energy to repower. Get a cable of the right length that fits both the helm and motor.

Rebuilding trim cylinders on Johnson 110 hp (1988)

Don't know if this is the exact one you need, but there are number of links to different suppliers. Have you drain the system and refill? Could be stuff trapped in the control circuits.

    Bowing steel seawall

In reality, the ground is holding the load. How big is a function of load and soil compaction. Would probably get better strength by driving something (beam) in the ground and tying off to that

Atwood surge coupler welded on Prestige trailer

Don’t mean to be rude but where are your cross section calculations? This is a double shear situation. What wall thickness are you dealing with? Safety factor when life and limb is involved in a min. 3X

Atwood surge coupler welded on Prestige trailer

Suggest you rethink your math. Don’t see where you converted the load to pounds per square inch. Don’t see where you accounted for acceleration and deceleration induced loads I buy 5/8”, grade 8 bolts by the pound because I shear them on a regular basis mowing the back field with a bush hog...

Cooling system diagram for '96 Evinrude 200?

What good is a flush port if it burns up the impeller if used for it's intended purpose? That is one of the functions.....obviously not the only if it can used in place of muffs.

Rayamarine A128 to Standard Horizon GS6000 NMEA connection

The VHF has GPS capabilities. It does not rely on the A128 for position unless configured that way. Big difference between being "connected" and the two units acknowledging each other over the network. I would start at Section 18, page 121 of the manual and make sure your network and GPS...

    Speedometer Connected to GPS Device?

Side by side comparisons over the past 15+ years.... no quantifiable difference whatsoever in position accuracy. Reliability is a different story. On my third remote antenna in 15 years on my primary MFD. Have since configured network to utilize backup MFD (internal antenna) as the primary...

Cooling system diagram for '96 Evinrude 200?

As I said earlier, I don’t own a pair of muffs. Just screw hose in port and fire up Could be a false reading if your running on hose. I change water pump when pressure gets down to 3 psi at idle (~700 rpm) in the water. Runs around 30 psi at cruise (4,300 rpm)) with new pump Honestly couldn’t...

Cooling system diagram for '96 Evinrude 200?

Have not run mine on muffs ever. Always use flush port. One side is always warmer than the other. Water in one side, out the other When was the last time the water pump was changed? plumbing diagram is a fold out in the manual

    Best technique for waterproof solders?

Key words.....epoxy lined....and a heck of a lot heavier jacketed than the cheap, Harry Homeowner shrink tubing available at the big box stores. Don't get me started on the liquid electrical tape....lol 40+ years of electronics manufacturing and field support...akin to using JB Weld to repair...

Rayamarine A128 to Standard Horizon GS6000 NMEA connection

Looking at both manuals, it doesn't look like either unit supports AIS via NMEA 2000. Need to use NMEA 0183

Rayamarine A128 to Standard Horizon GS6000 NMEA connection

The unit has a AIS receiver. AIS data is shown on the radio display. I see nothing about the unit having the capability to transmit AIS data. Nothing in the PNG listing to support an interface to the outside world, aka A128.

    coil check values

Resistance testing a coil rules out an outright (open) failure of the coil. It does not mean the coil will perform to specification under load
