    Can’t Figure out Prop ….

looking at the pic, looking at the corroded numbers.....looks like the numbers shown are 48-832828 which would be a 17P per the chart. which is what a 3.0 can spin. going to a 4-blade, I would drop down to a 15P.

    Chrysler 1057HF distributor

IIRC, the 3-cylinder used a modified 6-cylinder prestolite cap with only 3 of the terminals. I believe the rotor is just glued to the shaft. The pic looks like someone swapped in a 6-cylinder cap. call Franz, or spend a day at your local NAPA going thru all the parts on the shelf, and their...

    4.3 Vortec Harmonic Balancers...

the 1998 should be identical to the 1999 as far as crank/rods/block go. the automotive dampers are generally smaller because the motor doesnt spend the amount of time at WOT in a truck that it does in a boat. With that stated, use the 1999 short block as is. get a new marine water pump, new...

Clear Tape with great hold on plastic

The only thing I found to stick to rubbermade plastic totes was painters tape and use a sharpie. not sure what kind of adhesive they use, however that is how I label the totes in the garage however that defeats the purpose of the label.

    Coffee maker parts

they do not last any longer. I have found that they last only a year or two and then they stop pumping water. Our Cuisinart is still going where there is now 3 Keurigs that are dead and I need to take a look or toss them.

1986 Mercruiser 470/170hp/3.7L Carb backfire, low vacuum, other weird issues

only one carb out of 200+ have I ever deemed beyond rebuildable. there was too much corrosion. the issue most people make on rebuilding a carb is not putting the effort in on cleaning the gunk from the passages.
