    70F = 21C campers are a bit easier to heat than a boat hull. @Sailor96, if you still have condensation and moisture inside the boat after warming it up, you may have trapped moisture in the core material. you will find out when you pull the first window

    based on the core rot that Grub pointed out, those windows need to come out, the core rot taken care of, then the windows re-bedded. then worry about trim.

    If you have that much water, you have a water ingress issue with your fuel system

    Just pouring oil in the intake means oil is pooled in the intake. Depending on what side of the carb you poured it into, you may have fogged cylinders 1, 4, 6, and 7, or 2, 3, 5, and 8. Putting a few CCs in each cylinder and spinning would do a better job

    the vazer was still-born. it was a chev cavalier 2 liter turned on its side. the heat exchanger leaked horribly . only a few actually made it to market before the class-action lawsuit against mercrusier.

    all this for a motor that was originally offered with an optional oil filter in 1955...... guys, you are over-thinking it on an SBC. any of the oils in the last 50+ years will work fine as long as the viscosity is over 5cSt at 100C
