When you ran out of water, your exhaust temp went from 210F (water and exhaust) to 1100+ ( exhaust only)
The rubber hoses are good to 250 then they burn
Paying for shop labor at $100/hr adds up fast
Do the work yourself and you are in the $3500-$5000 range
Resin price is up 300% over pre-covid costs, so that isnt helping
There are no "chips" the motor is already putting out a fair amount of power. To put out more you need to go bigger with the motor, change cam, or you can add a blower..... All will require the use of MEFI burn and remap the ECM
Drop to F4 props
Still don't understand why a mechanic would suggest a new carb over a $20 carb kit
Take it back the the mechanic and have him make it right since he didn't finish the job
