    67 80 HP problems

A safety switch would not allow any current to the starter. Watching the video again, the bendix does start to lift and engage, but then the grinding starts. Did the rebuilder check the whole mechanism, or just the armature, brushes, bearings? This is for a 65 90, but there shouldn't be too...

71 Johnson 50 hp Initial Prop?

The trailing edge of the blade will have a little flip or wedge effectively increasing pitch. A curl or wedge at the tip increases the props rake. Now days most props for engines like yours are cupped. The props in the early 70s, especially the AL types were rarely cupped.

Is there anyone out there who knows of a Prop Shop qualified, where I can send a 4 blade prop so they can cut two of the blades off and rebalance it, thus making me a 2 blade prop? Preferably in Canada?

Carb only sucks gas when choked by hand 1974 1150 TOP

Do you have the overhaul kit for the carb? If so did you remove the round plug(33) that cover the idle ports? Unless that is R&R it is pretty much impossible to ensure the idle circuit is clean

New Holley Marine Avenger how can I connect this to the Volvo 33C Throttle cable?

Does you old Holley have something like this (arrow) on its throttle?. This one on my 2bbl 500cfm swapped over to my Holley 650 Spreadbore, by rotating it 180 degrees Holley makes a lot of carbs that probably taken the old linkage adapter https://www.holley.com/products/marine/marine_carburetors/
