    the new one is grounded thru the case, connect your trigger wire to the S terminal. looks like old one had 5/16" studs, new one has 3/8" studs? looks like generic bakelite casting. S = Start, I = Ignition. same as a starter relay.

    the motor will have an anode on it. unless you add it yourself, the pontoon itself wont have one as they are generally intended to be fresh water only.
