4th sticky down, go thru links 14, 15, 18, 2, 3, 4a, and 4b in their entirety.
you still need a drive. the 2.3 liter has the wrong gearing for a 5.0. plus you need the correct transom assembly.
you need to change everything from the front pulley to the propeller
yes, however you would need a complete 5.0, and appropriate drive to replace everything pulley to prop.
the 2.3 was used almost 40 years ago. is the boat structurally sound enough for a repower?
