    Heads went to the shop and found some bent valves. The guides were all drilled out and bronze bushings were pressed in, cheap fix. So we have a Merc Reman that had several problems. So much for Merc quality Heads should be back next week and can start putting it back together.

    Doesn't state in manual, but I would guess it should be same as all SBC and 24* from base timing.

    Agree not much out there, but very few parts also that does the shifting. I might try swapping the shift actuators to see if it goes with it. If no change, then it's the lower cable or the drive

    I like this test Coils rarely go out. Normally not seeing 12V on the + side of C would mean the coil is blown, but they just don't go very often but the module does Just going from what your posting

    I'm using cool fuel, but again you can use anything that will produce more then 37 psi, and then the Reg will lower it to 37 psi

    Getting 0V on C+ means the module in the dizzy is not passing voltage and needs replaced
