    Those little fuel pumps mount directly over the PRESSURE pulse port from the crankcase.-----And one visible port for fuel in and one visible port for fuel out.

    You do not need an ignition switch.-----If it starts / fires you might need to choke it to stop it.-----Water pump impellers need water on them or they will be destroyed.-----But if this turns out to be a runner you would install a new impeller regardless.

    Your local machine shop can make that part.------Brass / delrin / nylon / aluminum, etc.----Then use a brass shear pin and go fishing.

    Nope-----Once the pump is primed and the boat is moving it is a different story altogether.------And I have worked on many different machines and pumps.------Pumps with 3000 HP and also 12,000 HP motors driving them.

    Important part.-----Oil recirculation hose.-----Use 3/16" fuel line and install a new hose.

    Nope-----99 cube blocks for the 1973 and newer115 HP.-----The 85 HP had less displacement up to and including 1978!!------In 79 the the 85 also had the 99 cubes.

    Fact------That switch is available in my opinion.----- Just not not as a " plug and play" out of the package.------It is used on other models with different length wires.----Therefor a different part # is used.-----A competent person can easily make it work !
