    Your motor doesn't have a pee hole Yes same bottle. As a test, if the alarm is sounding disconnect one of the wires going to the lube bottle. If alarm goes off, then lube bottle switch is hanging and may need replaced Can do the same disconnect test for the temp sender and oil pressure...

    Things that can give a solid tone alarm besides temp are oil pressure low or outdrive gear lube low All 3 are switches and turn the alarm on by closing and connecting a Tan/Blue wire to ground How much lube is in the drive bottle?

    OK, its getting hot Look on top the drive where the water hose connects coming from the drive. Remove hose and the fitting. @Scott Danforth has found the fitting gets corroded up and needs to be replaced

    Not familiar with the design, but I would look on the raw water side first. Has the impeller been changed? What does the pump housing look like? Place a piece of clear hose between the drive and heat exchanger to see if your sucking air

    The gear switch IMO is useless and causes more problems then it would solve. Its one of those who in there right mind would rev a motor in neutral that high. If its disconnected nothing happens and the ECM doesn't care so to speak

    From cold to warm it would do that also Use a IR temp gun and measure temps at thermostat housing and elbows. If the thermostat housing (temp sender location) was at 220* rubber hoses would be smoking

    There are 2 Bulletins out about HVS distributor. One which shows how to precisely clock the HVS on a ECT motor. The one attached list issues with misfiring, no start or shut down.

    The main engine connector. Look at the drawing you posted If the wire is not there, then OMC didn't install it. If not installed, then this might also mean the switches are not there either

    I don't know of one, but I'm sure there are some In most cases its the connectors that cost, 10 gauge 3 strand shore power cord is about $3 a foot. Might find it cheaper but would have to do some looking. My guess is it will cost more to test then buying a new cable Just found 10/3 STOW...
