    But the HYDRO -ELECTRIC does NOT need battery power when in forward gear.-----The clutch dog spring puts them in forward.-----The electramatic needs 12 volts to stay in forward all the time.

    Sorry----But there is LOTS of room to remove the pinion nut.----I say replace the pinion bearing now !!

    The carburetors have fixed jets for full throttle operation.----But low speed mixture must be correct for proper throttle pick up.

    Very hard to put one together that does NOT pump.----Best put it on a boat or in a test bucket with water 8" above the impeller.

    Check to make sure all wires are going to the correct terminals on the switch box.-----Post compression test actual values.-----Open low speed mixture screws 1/8th turn at a time and test run.

    I am going to be blunt once again.----Took me 15 seconds to find a listing for the steering handle.----So where are you looking ?----Switch is 0583975 about $200 CA for the repair kit.
