    1980 Dyna Trak 176 drain bait/livewell???

Owners manuals for boats at best are a 4 page safety brochure indicating the round thing you hold is the steering wheel, the pointy end is the bow, and the end with the prop is the stern. There is also a list of servicing dealers. Only 5 out of hundreds of thousands of boat manufacturers ever...

    Can't find 1992 Mercruiser 4.3 Pre-Vortex intake manifold

JB weld is for holding your broken tail light together. it is not for engine component repair unless maybe the vanity cover over the carb. either fire up the welder with a high-nickel rod and weld it, or get a new one.

    Stringer Manual?

first, welcome aboard you do NOT want a seloc manual or a haynes manual or a clymer manual. they also do not make PDF versions. you can get a factory manual here: https://outboardbooks.com/ it will be hard copy as well. also a good resource are the guys at TC Electronics...

    Poor Running - Low WOT

you dont have an oil pump issue or your motor would have seized. you dont have an ignition issue or it wont be running its not the motor hint...... look at your fuel and fuel system. did you ever plug in Rinda? what is your injector pulse width? 50 psi means you have something plugged in...

Mercruiser 5.0 TKS vs 4.3 MPI

you obviously think I dont know that. however Im glad you like your MPI engine.... you still cant make more power with EFI than you can a carb. the combusion mix of the engine (dynamic CR, cam profile, rocker geometry, combustion chamber and of course bore and stroke) is what determines an...

    Can't find 1992 Mercruiser 4.3 Pre-Vortex intake manifold

I would do a threaded rocker stud conversion (the pressed in studs sometimes pull out) and run adjustable rockers. generally not needed, however that is my preference. I also like to remove the casting flash on the exhaust ports and combustion chamber prior to bolting the heads on. again...

    Can't find 1992 Mercruiser 4.3 Pre-Vortex intake manifold

any 1995 and older intake will fit your 1992 motor without balance shaft. since you have to buy a new manifold.... I would update the heads to vortec and run this manifold https://www.edelbrock.com/marine-vortec-v6-4-3-intake-manifold-2519.html

4.3 Oil Drain System and Timing Cover

I added the drain hose to the last two engines. I loved it about the 5.0 in the Sea Ray to want that feature going forward. yes its slow. however you can pull the hose out the garboard plug, then drain it into your oil catch pan while you make a sandwich, get a beer and tend to other things...

Mercruiser 5.0 TKS vs 4.3 MPI

you should do some research. and you should talk to many of the pioneers in the EFI world a carb will always atomize better than an intake mounted injector nozzle (again, do your own research). not until you get to direct injection with variable valve timing can an EFI motor make more power...
