Repair and Moving '57 Chris Craft from Oregon to Texas

That's a sweet old boat and well worth the effort but it will be a project that you'll be working on for a while, I don't think you need to worry about humidity, it will acclimate long before you finish...

It's always been a bit rich for me so I'm just giving an opinion,, for what it's worth, I would hold but expect a reduction in dividends.

    Mercarb 2BBL vacuum hose?

The fuel pump needs to be vented to the carb unless it has a bowl that can collect leaking fuel.

    Mercarb 2BBL vacuum hose?

The base of the carb has a standard vacuum port, it's normally not used in the marine world so it's capped. In an auto it could be used for spark advance. Or maybe the windshield wiper.

So I became a proud boat owner today.

Sorry, bag it is a bad description, what I mean is seal all known openings to the hull then put a window fan in the hatch way to build positive air pressure inside the boat. You can then spray soapy water and you can find the leaks. Like testing a tire.

    Mercarb 2BBL vacuum hose?

Be sure you route the hose from the fuel pump to the carb. Don't want raw fuel in the bilge if the pump fails.

well....dreaded boat damage victim...need expertise answers

Toons are a pipe, made in a few different diameters cut to length and brackets with end caps. Boat manufacturers build to what's available. Your marina is stalling for time while they look for salvage toons that will fit to save a buck.

    Marine epoxy/fiberglass in toilet tank?

I agree, pressure wash the inside and then wash with CLR etc. Lay up the inside with some light epoxy after filling the crack with epoxy filler, and a layer of glass like a bandaid. I patched up a small cement fish pond years ago and as far as I know it's still good.
