    Yeah I believe the prop is good, don't see any damage the twist is good and that makes me wonder how the pin broke. In any case, if the motor runs well you have to replace the pump impeller and then you will get more than your asking for!

    just a word of caution, you probably want to change out the water pump impeller before you burn the motor up...

    Just pull the prop and you'll know if the pin is sheared.

    That's the cotter pin not the shear pin. Remove the cotter, remove the nut, remove the prop and you'll find the shear pin..

    Well sure, if the block is drained then AF will show up, water out and AF in! Don't forget manifolds..

    The space between the outer hull and the inner lining will need to be made stable. If there is a rotten core all the work you put into rebeding the ports will be wasted.so be sure you have something solid between them. And have fun..:)

    If you're ports are framed I would use butyl tape if you're ports are plexiglass. May be some new stuff on the market these days. I don't know. I would stay away from anything that dries hard. The plexiglass needs to be able to expand and contract with temperature variation..

    It's very common when a boat has some age for the ports to leak, deck fittings also.
