Error closed loop gasoline bank 2

Had a Volve powered one at the shop, The mis fire would not go away. Plugs looked new but after changing the issue went away. I had already checked fuel pressure and a bunch of other stuff, but it continued. Plugs did the trick.

That is what they do themselves! Always causing trouble or getting shot. Give me the same stuff as Mc tool and a little Ozzy, Nugent, ZZ top, Cooper and such!

    Wakeboat bans

On our lake that's 140 acers, It would be a bad thing. The lake is long and narrow. The wave would slam the shoreline and boats/docks hard. We did have one person launch his wakeboat at the ramp but never got out, He backed out into the shallow rocky area on the right of the landing and...

For those of us who tow our boat, do you inspect it ?

Had a guy come to the shop a couple years ago, He had just towed his boat 150 miles on vacation, and he saw the cross member was rusted through. Just bought the boat a week before. Every crossmember was ready to give up the ghost! We couldn't weld anything in as there was not enough meat left...

    I Got Me a Mercury !!!

Do me a big favor: never let go of the tiller handle while the motor is running! It only takes .100th of a second to have a disaster! I was foolish once, the motor jackknifed and threw me into the bottom of the boat. I was very lucky I didn’t get thrown out.

    Starter issue

If you have a garage you can use a chain hoist. I’ve done that. Put a 4x4 across the rafters and attach the hoist, pull out the motor.

7.4 merc won't start after winter storage

I dislike those pumps myself. Had one customer's boat and it quit while moving it from the slip, windy day. Lucky people were around to help with avoiding squishing other boats at the docks and getting it back to the slip. Belt broke. That little belt works hard running the fuel pump and...

7.4 merc won't start after winter storage

On the picture of your fuel connector at the anti syphon valve looks to missing a hose clamp. Usually there are two clamps.

    Antifreeze under stairs

Common winterization procedure as said. You can flush it out if the water has a path to the bilge for pumping out with the bilge pump. I recommend doing that as it can get funky if left in there.

    NYC Accident

Yeah, I was wondering if it was fly by wire. When those get a glitch there is nothing you can do without shutting down the entire thing and waiting for a re-start. Had a ferry boat up here that had similar issues, but they were far from any obsticles. After re-start it was ok. They had the...

Jacking a pontoon onto logs/pvc to roll into lake

It should hold the weight as it’s distributed along the entire surface.

Jacking a pontoon onto logs/pvc to roll into lake

How about getting some long bunk slides and putting them lengthwise under the toons? It would be the best way in my opinion, no chance of bending the toons.

    Starter issue

At minimum the head should be brought to a machine shop and have it re-conditioned. Best to do both heads at the same time. But if the piston is damaged enough the engine is coming out for rebuilding.
