If you have a competitive nature I think you will be disappointed in either. Really depends on how you want to use it..if it were me I would finish your class and then hang out at the docks and crew on a few different boats..
I have a 35lb kayak that would be a fun time with an inline electric motor of good strength.. I would place batts towards the bow and the motor just forward of my seat.
I think it's ok,, unless you have some sensitive IT.. diodes don't like it... your alternator is probably okay but the built in voltage regulator might be damaged. I'm glad for you that the tunes still function
I've been following this thread and curiosity bit so I googled a 14 ft buccaneer and it made me wonder. I can't see how to find room for a kicker. That's a small boat to hang 2 motors on..can you offer a picture?
Boats have always been needy and require a lot of love.... wish there was a better explanation but I don't have it.. they are a bit like a spoiled woman..LOL
I no nothing! But will say that the ram on the port side looks a bit rusty. But I do have a couple of non related questions..
What is the rectangle thingy in the center of the transom? Maybe a mount for a pusher..? And will the remote cables freeze up from corrosion?
