    Treated wood can have corrosive chemicals that will destroy a Aluminum boat hull. Untreated wood is best. Wrapped with some soft plastic carpet scraps. S S U shaped staples finish up the job.

    You changed TOO MANY parts at once !!!!!! Now you will put back the original parts. Check temperature with $25 Harbor Freight red dot laser gun. See if 200 is still there. Change 1 PART AT A TIME. Then decide who is bad.

    You have a lot of items that need checking out somehow. Keep doing 1 at a time. Only change 1 new item at a time and test run the boat on the water. To verify it is good. That way a reject new item is caught first time.

    I really dislike black rubber or plastic fuel lines. And buildup of GOOK is unnoticed. Especially small diameter sizes. Under 3/8" size. I replace them at about 5 years.

    96 Evinrude 20 no charge

    It can take days of medium running speeds to recharge a boat battery up to 13.7 or 14.5 volts. Any fishfinder will take longer. If possible at lower speeds.
