I saw a couple of MCs prototype builds when they were working on more of "yachts." Dunno' why they devolved to that design. Some of the others were pretty sharp IMHO.
Do you have a link to the boat in question?
Typically, price is kind of a regional thing. The value of this boat is based mostly in its condition, especially being over a decade old. So, before anyone can even make a guess - they really need to see the boat itself.
Great guide HERE for buying...
I still like the black ... but it's not like the red looks bad. I just like the black a little better for some texture. I don't care for the grey at all.
LOL ... I'm crackin' up: can't really afford a 33' boat, but I can afford an opinion on your 33' boat :p
Xpress didn't put the draft of the boat on the website (that I could find). If you don't already own it, I would call / email the dealer or manufacturer and see what they say draft is. - Then you can start adding in crew, rigging and "load."
Good chance it's from the late 60s or very early 70s and so didn't require a HIN on it. And also as reasonably possible it was bought from Sears or Montgomery Ward - and the plates that were there just came off over time.
Neighbor of ours had a boat they bought from Wards that looked like that one.
Welcome aboard: is that the little Coleman boat? Got any pics?
And then the million dollar question: good for what? Fishing small lakes and ponds, nearly anything that floats will do the trick :)
I don't know for sure on the newer models, but on my old electric shift the zinc was actually on the hull. It was mounted to the starboard side of the transom boot.
Not so sure about the highback seat in the stern, but I like the look of the boat and the lights and speakers are pretty cool lookin'.
Congrats on the splash.
