    87 jap 30 mariner idleing too high and poping then idleing down and goes back up??

    Can anyone tell me if I am haveing an electrical problem? I adjust the idle and air fuel mixture and when idle is correct and place in gear the motor dies, then I adjust it so it wont die and take it out of gear and the motor idles too high and pops and goes down, also when you accelerate it...
