    someone please exsplain the timing advance get up for me .when do i use it only on start up or can i use it when im pluggin along and i need some extra juice ..the motor is a 1987 70 hp johnson with the timing advance on the controls .lever kinda flips up an forward ..any input would be great...

    warning horn

    1987 johnson 70 hp when i run the tilt and trim up and down .every once in a while i hear the horn .just a slight beep ..what do u think it is a short .any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks.
